The Indian Government postponed the implementation of Uniform Code of Pharmaceutical Marketing Practices by another 3 month

The government has postponed by another three months the implementation of a statutory code Uniform Code of Pharmaceutical Marketing Practices to curb unethical practices by the pharmaceutical industry, mainly involving winning prescriptions from doctors to generate higher revenue.
