“Assignment of a TradeMark” – What is that mean?

This is a legal term associated with trademark.

When one trademark owner transfer it’s trademark to another party, the term trademark assignment comes into picture.

An Assignment means transfer of a claim, right or a property, allotment, appointment or ascribing property to another.

This transfer is effected by the execution of the document called an assignment in writing and signed by the transferor and transferee.
